Selection of right school for children is a dilemma for most of the young parents. They are normally not confronted with any situation like this, thus far in their life. Further, all sorts of people in the neighborhood, at work place, relatives and friends have all sorts of opinions, quite conflicting with each other. All this adds up to the confusion all the more. Problem becomes more acute when parents of the child differ in their opinion. It aggravates further if Grandparents of the child are also around and have their say on the matter.
One has to be very clear as to what he/she is looking for in a school and then start the search. Parent’s expectations are different and so are the schools. The need is to make the right match. Play/Primary schools are mushrooming in every residential area in any city; entrepreneurs find it a very lucrative business proposition.
It is very well known that most of the development of brain happens in the age group of 3 to 8 years. It’s the time when child goes out and starts receiving information from sources other than parents/home. So what the child receives becomes very important than the proximity of the school, school building and other frills. It is also very well known that one can give only what he/she has. It’s here the philosophy of the school management and quality of teachers becomes very important. Quality of teachers cannot be assessed by the degrees they hold. One has to talk to them and get a peep into their belief system.
Every child is unique and so are their learning abilities. They do require individual attention. For all round development of the child, see whether school has enough open space, play area, sun light, naturally green environment, and safe school premise. Also see weather class rooms are big enough to have group activities, enactment of plays from story books etc. etc. They should be close to nature as most of the lessons in life are learnt through nature. Children should feel free in school at this age. Nothing should hold back their enthusiasm. They should run, shout, laugh & cry, express themselves freely without any inhibition. They should play and learn. It’s here the role of facilitator/mentor becomes important. How they summarize the observations of children, is the key to proper learning.
Good early education for first 3-4 years lays the foundation to become a good human being.

Sri Sri Academy, Hyderabad is now running in 5th Academic year, 2017-18 and I am writing this blog with lot of satisfaction. In 3rd academic year it got affiliated to CBSE as high school and first batch of 11 students shall be appearing in high school board examination in March 2018. All children are confident of passing out with distinction.
Our application for up gradation of school to senior secondary level is under active consideration of CBSE and we are likely to get affiliation for senior secondary level by the end of March’18. Subject to getting affiliation, science and commerce streams would be available to students at +2 level. Admissions would be done in April and May2018. However prospective candidates are advised to provisionally enroll themselves now.
Residential facility would be made available to boys and girls coming from far off places and other districts of AP/Telengana and other parts of the country. To ensure proper accommodation, provisional enrollment will help.
SSA students are having all-round development of their personality. Truly, average students are turning into bright stars. School is demonstrating the efficacy of its tag line “where personality blossoms”.

We at sri Sri Academy beleive in Sangachadwam. (we move together).
Schools are made for children and for their joy of learning. Each generation works for the aspirations of the parents who are the stake holders. At times they want their children to be treated tenderly, at times with sternness,or many times they simply want them to be totally free. At other times they want them performing, excelling, disciplined. As a part of this endeavour we beleive in inclusive growth of the child. Thus the students council was initiated and the investiture ceremony was held on 18th July 2017 and the students presented their proposals on 3rd August 2017. We welcome them all.
